Refund Policy

This policy covers payments made to Toshi Consulting Services for ExamPrep. All payments are processed by Razorpay and refunds are returned to the original payment method.

1. Try before you pay

Every new school sign-up gets a 14-day trial with no card required, and independent students can practise for free before buying anything. Please use the trial to check that ExamPrep suits your school — it is the best way to avoid needing a refund at all.

2. School subscriptions

  • First payment: if you cancel within 7 days of your first payment on a plan, we refund it in full.
  • Monthly plans: after those 7 days, a monthly payment is not refundable. Cancelling stops the next charge and the plan stays active until the end of the paid month.
  • Annual plans: after those 7 days, you can cancel and receive a pro-rated refund for the whole months remaining, less any discount the annual rate gave over the monthly rate for the months already used.
  • Student count adjustments: per-student billing is settled against your verified roster each period; a drop in roster is reflected in the next invoice rather than refunded mid-period.

3. Attempt packs (independent students)

Attempt packs are one-time purchases and are consumed as you use them. An unused pack can be refunded in full within 7 days of purchase. A partly used pack is not refundable.

4. Duplicate or failed payments

If you were charged twice for the same period, or a payment was taken but the plan or pack was not activated, tell us and we will refund the duplicate or activate the purchase, whichever you prefer, within 5–7 working days of confirming it.

5. Service problems

If a sustained outage or a fault on our side prevents your school from using ExamPrep for a material part of a billing period, contact us; we will extend the subscription or refund the affected portion.

6. How to request a refund

Email info@toshiconsulting.com from the account’s registered email with the invoice or payment ID. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 working days; your bank may take a few more days to show it. GST on a refunded amount is reversed on the credit note.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us before raising a dispute with your bank — most issues are settled the same day. Accounts with an open chargeback may be suspended until it is resolved.
